Busy Baby

I know I have said a million times that Anne Bailey is so busy and into everything right now! She is pulling up on everything, reaching for anything she can, opening drawers and cabinets, crawling from room to room, and walking all around furniture. We sing, play patty cake, peek-a-boo, read books, play with toys and laugh constantly. She is learning something new everyday and is constantly amazing us with how smart she is. We really are having so much fun and I am loving this age! Here is a little glimpse into what we do everyday.

Playing With Cousins at Fairpark

On Tuesday we met up with my sister, niece and nephew for our last playdate of the summer before they start back to school next week. Cora Beth is going to be starting kindergarten at Joyner and Joseph will be in the 3 year old room at Harrisburg. We have really loved having them out of school all summer so we could play. Since it is so hot outside we decided to go play in the fountain at Fairpark. Anne Bailey loved watching Cora and Joseph run and splash in the water. She laughed so big everytime the water would squirt up! We are going to miss these playdates but can't wait to hear about all their fun stories from school.

Anne Bailey meets Ella

On Saturday we were at Pickwick and had our friends, Matthew and Anne Laura Reviere over for a visit. They live in Baltimore but were in town for a family reunion. They have a sweet baby girl, Eleanor who is 6 months old. We were so happy to get to see them and let the girls play together. Ella is so cute and so sweet! They had a great time playing in Anne Bailey's pool, chewing on bath toys, and eating. The adults also had a great time catching up and comparing baby stories.

Lunch Date with Barrett

On Thursday, we went over to Beth's house to visit with her and Barrett. Barrett is only 3 weeks old and such a cutie! This was the 2nd time for Anne Bailey to meet Barrett. The first time she met him she loved him until I held him. She did not like her mommy holding another baby at all and fussed until I put him down and picked her up. This time she was much happier because I didn' t hold him. During this visit she smiled, talked and pointed at him. She also played with lots of his toys. Anne Bailey also got to meet Barrett's cousin, Molly, who is about 4 weeks old. After the visit we went to lunch with Beth and Barrett at Peppers. They both were on their best behavior and had so much fun getting lots of attention!

Swimming with Anne Cambria

Anne Cambria was so sweet to invite Anne Bailey over today to go swimming. The girls were so happy to see each other and smiled and talked the whole time. They had so much fun pointing at each other, holding hands, swimming, playing with toys, and showing off their coughing skills. I know these girls are going to have so much fun together in the future!

Beach Trip

On Wednesday, we headed to Florida for our second family vacation. We stayed with The Carr Family at their awesome house in Santa Rosa. The first night we stayed in so Anne Bailey and Jack could play. They absolutely love each other! Jack was so sweet with her and shared all of his toys. We had such a great time catching up and eating some yummy fish tacos that MH made. On Thursday, we hung out at their Beach club all day and played at the beach and pool. Anne Bailey loved playing in the sand and watching the waves. Thursday night we got a babysitter and went to a great restaurant called V in Seagrove. The food was so good and we had so much fun getting out for an adults only night. Friday morning MH, Jack, AB and I did some shopping and then met the boys for lunch at Cantina Loredo. We spent the afternoon swimming aand watching the sunset at Grayton Beach.

We went to Grayton Beach again on Saturday. Anne Bailey had so much fun playing in Dune Lake and watching Jack paddle board. Saturday night we had another great dinner at The Red Bar. Anne Bailey loved watching all the people and the band. On Sunday,it was time to head home. Jack rode back to Tupelo with us so he could spend the week with his grandparents. It was so fun having him ride with us and it gave us practice for the future if we have two kids. Thanks so much to the Carrs for letting us stay with them and for such a great vacation!
