Green Veggies are Good

This past week Anne Bailey started eating green beans and peas. She loves them both. Hopefully this is a sign that Anne Bailey will not be an picky eater when she is older. Next up is fruit.

What are we eating today?

More please.

Say Cheese

I have become completely obsessed with taking pictures of Anne Bailey. I have probably taken several thousand pictures and she is not even 6 months yet. I know one day she will be completely annoyed by this so I have to take advantage while she cooperates. Here are a few cute pics.

More pictures?

Cuddling with sparkle.

Is this not the cutest little baby you have ever seen?

Look at that sweet face.

Trying on mommy's pearls.

Are we done yet?

Yellow Veggies!

Last week Anne Bailey started eating baby food. We are following the Baby Wise II approach so we started with yellow veggies first. So far we have tried sweet potatoes, carrots and squash. She absolutely LOVES it! She starts talking like crazy, opening her mouth really wide, and reaching for the bowl and spoon before I am ready with the next bite. She wants it in her mouth as fast as possible. Next we will be trying green veggies so stay tuned.

Yummy sweet potatoes.

Can I get another bite?

Anne Bailey's First Tooth

I have been saying Anne Bailey is teething for about 3 months and now we finally have the proof. Anne Bailey's first tooth started coming in about 2 weeks ago. She did really well considering it was probably pretty painful. She was a little fussy and made these sounds like she was pushing something out. Now we know she was working hard to push out that tooth. It has been pretty hard to get a picture of it because it is not all the way out yet. Here is the best I could do. It is so cute!!

See the little white spot on her bottom gum

Every morning I check to see how much it has come out

Girl Time

Since Ruff has been in China Anne Bailey and I have been spending lots of girl time with some friends. Lauren, Emily, and Molly have been doing a good job of keeping us busy to help keep our minds off missing Ruff. On Saturday we went to Oxford with Emily and Lauren for lunch and some shopping. Here are a few pics from the day!

At Maharja Restaurant (probably my first and last time to eat Indian food)

Lauren and Emily

ABs first time to sit in a high chair. She looked so cute.

When we got home that afternoon I decided to do a little photo shoot with AB. She just looked so cute so I just couldn't resist.

Just hanging out in her nursery

Look at that face. Adorable!

Getting better at sitting up.

Let it Snow-Part 2

After a little lunch and warming up by the fire we decided to spend a little more time outside. Ruff was so sweet and built a snowman for Anne Bailey. Then we took a little stroll around the neighborhood. I hope it snows like this next year so Anne Bailey can really enjoy it.

Getting in a quick nap before the afternoon.

Ruff making a snow angel. I think he had more fun than anybody.

Working on the snowman.

Cabo stared at the snowman forever because Ruff used tennis balls for the eyes.

Anne Bailey loved her Daddy for building her a snowman.

Cabo was a wild man all day.

I absolutely love our neighborhood especially with snow everywhere.

AB and her Daddy.

I love my family.

This is what we found of the snowman about an hour later. Cabo had knocked the head off to get the tennis balls. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Playing in the snow is so tiring.

Let it Snow-Part 1

We were so excited this morning when we woke up to 8 inches of snow. It has not snowed this much in North MS since 1984. Ruff had to cancel his business trip to Dallas and got to stay home and play with us all day. We had such a fun day! Here are a few pics from this morning.

So Pretty.

Ready to enjoy the snow. Anne Bailey got this little bear suit for Christmas. We think she looks so adorable. Thanks Trica!

Family fun in the snow

Sweet baby.

Cabo wanted some attention too.

Ruff teaching Anne Bailey about snow. Not really sure what she thought about it.

Cabo and Greta enjoyed the snow too. Probably Cabo a little more than Greta. As you can see Cabo is always trying to get Greta.

The backyard was so pretty.

Tupelo Buffalo Park

On Saturday we decided to get out of the house and have some fun before this "supposed" winter storm hits today. Since Anne Bailey has been learning all about animals from her Baby Einstein videos we thought we would take her to the Buffalo Park to see some. It was pretty cold yesterday so all we were allowed to do was drive thru the park in our car. Also some of the animals were already put up for winter so they don't get sick. Anne Bailey slept most of the time but Ruff and I had fun looking at the animals and dodging camels.

Can't stay awake in the car

The zebras were playing with each other. So cute.

Joe the camel.

Right before Joe tried to take a bite out of the car.

Steers, Buffalo and a Yak in the back.

Huge Buffalo.

Okay, I'm awake now. What did I miss?

Gypsy the Cougar

The foxes are so cute.

AB is going to have so much fun riding this pony one day.

All tuckered out after a fun day at the Buffalo park.
