More Teeth

Anne Bailey's teeth have really started coming in one after another now. She has gotten 3 new teeth in the past 2 weeks! One is on the bottom and the other two are her two front top teeth. She now has a total of 6, 4 bottom and 2 top! She has been a little fussy from the pain but really handles it well. They are just the cutest little things and I love seeing her smile and show them off!

Time To Lower The Crib Mattress

This is how I found Anne Bailey after her nap on Monday. She has been pulling up to her knees for awhile now but finally got up to her feet. She was so proud of herself. Now she is pulling up all the time and never wants to sit down.

Hey Momma!

So proud

Happy Father's Day Ruff!

We spent the weekend at the lake celebrating Father's Day. We had so much fun swimming, taking boat rides, relaxing on the dock, and cooking out! Anne Bailey absolutely loves being in the water and splashes and squeals the whole time. She also loves getting spoiled all weekend by her Big Mike and DD. We are just so thankful for such a great family and fun times at the lake!

Anne Bailey and I are also thankful for Ruff and what a great father he is. We both just absolutely adore him! When he walks through the door Anne Bailey just lights up and gets the biggest smile on her face. I know she is thinking about him all the time because she says dada all day. I just love watching them together because they have the sweetest relationship that I know will only get stronger as the time goes by. We are just so blessed that he is in our lives. Thank you Ruff for being such a great dad! We Love You!

Family Vacation-Part 2

On Tuesday morning, we headed to Savannah for the second part of our vacation. I have always wanted to visit there so I was so excited! I was not disappointed!! It is a beautiful old city with so much history and charm. We stayed at a hotel right on the river so we were able to walk everywhere. On Tuesday, we walked around River Street, had a great lunch at Vics on the river, checked out City Market and took a carriage ride around the city. Tuesday night, we had dinner at the Lady and Sons, Paula Deen's restaurant. It was so good!!! Anne Bailey loved trying some hoecakes, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. I was really hoping Paula would be there and see AB and have to come and talk to us but no such luck. We had so much fun!

On Wednesday we went to Forsyth Park and then headed to Tybee Island for the day. While there we took a tour of the Tybee lighthouse. Ruff carried Anne Bailey up 178 very steep winding stairs in 100 degree weather. Anyone who has held her knows that is not an easy thing to do. By the time we got to the top we were so tired and freaked out about being up there with a baby we just wanted to go back down. Next we had lunch at Stingrays and then went to the beach. On our way back to Savannah that afternoon we went to Uncle Bubba's restaurant to cool off and eat some yummy oysters. On Wednesday night we had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Yes, we are those people that took our baby in a fine dining restaurant!!! When we walked in I think everyone rolled their eyes thinking oh no but Anne Bailey did so great! By the end of the night couples were coming up to us telling us how cute and well behaved she was. One lady even begged to take her home with her. So thankful for these times and making great memories. I can't wait for our next family adventure!

Hanging out on River Street

AB spent most of her time in the restaurants reading the menu or her books to everyone. Everyone thought it was so cute!

Family Vacation-Part 1

We went on our first family vacation this week to Hilton Head and Savannah. Ruff had a banquet to go to for Farmer's Furniture so we thought we would make a vacation out of it. I have to admit we were a little nervous because of the 9 hour drive, 5 nights away from home, getting off schedule, naps, eating out every meal, and staying up past Anne Bailey's bedtime. No worries! Anne Bailey was perfect!!! We drug her everywhere and she was happy as can be! She showed out the entire time waving and talking to everyone. We felt like she was a little celebrity and Ruff and I were her entourage. We were constantly getting stopped because everyone wanted to talk to her and tell us how beautiful she was. We are so thankful for this sweet baby girl!

We started out our trip in Hilton Head. It was so pretty!!! I just loved all the old trees and the spanish moss everywhere. When we arrived Saturday afternoon, we walked around our resort, checked out the beach and had a great dinner at Alexanders. On Sunday we played at the beach and pool all day. Anne Bailey absolutely loved everything about the beach. She loved getting in the ocean, playing in the sand, and trying to eat it. She was covered head to toe in sand and did not care one bit. On Monday Ruff played in a golf tournament so AB and I went shopping. We met back up at the pool that afternoon for some swimming. Monday night we met our college friend, Jacob Stubbs and his girlfriend Corey at The Salty Dog for dinner. We had such a great time in Hilton Head and can't wait to hopefully go back next year!

Sorry about the crazy amount of pictures! I just can't help myself!

A Visit With Nat

Today we went to Oxford with DD and Natty to visit Nat. Anne Bailey was so excited to see her because it has been a few months. We picked Nat up and headed to Boure' for a great lunch. Anne Bailey was on her best behavior and talked and played the whole time. She loved getting to eat crackers, pita bread, and sweet potato fries. After lunch we went back to Nat's house and hung out on the deck for awhile. We had such a fun girly day with family!

10 Months Old

Anne Bailey turned 10 months old on Saturday!!! She is still just the sweetest and most laid back baby ever. She is very talkative and squeals all the time which is the the cutest thing ever. She is all about her mommy right now which I absolutely LOVE! She cries when I leave the room and reaches for me when other people are holding her. She still loves her daddy though and will point at him and say dada when he walks in the room which just melts his heart

She is also FINALLY crawling!!! She stays pretty close to us and will only crawl short distances. She loves to stand and try and walk when holding on to our fingers. She is getting very brave about pulling up on stuff so we have had a few boo boos lately. I think it probably hurts me more than it does her! She plays peek-a-boo and patty cake. She is also loving trying all kinds of new finger foods. This month she has tried eggs, cheese, peaches, strawberrys, green beans, and chicken. Most of it actually ends up smashed on the tray, in the floor, or in her hair but she is having fun. Right now she is loving books, baths, swimming, swinging, and dogs.

Happy 10 months baby girl!

Notice the scratch between her eyes. That is from pulling a picture frame off of the ottoman and then falling on it :(

Sweet smile

No more sitting still

Look at that cute bottom and those sweet legs!
