37 Week Checkup

Today we went to the doctor for my 37 week ultrasound and checkup. Emerson did so good and took lots of great pictures. She appears to be very healthy and is measuring 9lbs 9ozs!!! OMG! I think I am still in shock! Her head and abdomen are measuring 42 weeks and the ultrasound is saying that I am 2 days overdue. Let's just say that it is time for her to make her debut!!

Unfortunately, Dr Kellum thinks we need to wait a little longer to make sure her lungs are developed. He will induce me on July 9th unless she decides to come earlier on her own. Also, we did discuss me having a C Section because of her size. That was definately not our plan but we will do whatever is best for Emerson. We have one and a half weeks left until we finally get to meet our sweet girl!!

Big Accomplishment

Anne Bailey is officially out of the nursery and into her big girl room! I am a little sad but I love her new room so much. She has been sleeping in her big girl bed for a week and a half now and absolutely loves it. She does roll all around the bed so we do have rails and pillows that we stack around her at night. And did I mention how adorable she looks in that big bed! We are so proud of her and I know she will love growing up in this room!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the best husband and father! We are so lucky that he is all ours! We love you Ruff!!!

Church Shower

On Saturday some sweet ladies at First Presbyterian Church threw me a baby shower. The decorations were so cute and I had a great time with visiting with everyone! Emerson got some great stuff that is all hers so she will not have to share everything with her sister :)! We are very thankful for our church and so happy our girls will grow up there!

22 Months Old

Anne Bailey turned 22 months on Monday! I cannot believe in two short months we will be celebrating her 2nd birthday! She is still just the sweetest thing but is definitely starting to show a few signs of the terrible twos. Lets just say we have had to start using time out alot:)! She is busy as ever and continues to amaze us with everything she knows. She talks all day and uses lot of sentences. Some of my favorite things she says is "Bless you mommy" and "I help you mommy." Ruff has also taught her to say "rock and roll baby" and "Boo Bama." Anne Bailey can count to 11 and can say most of her ABC's but skips around most of the time. She also loves to sing Old McDonald and The Wheels on the Bus.

Anne Bailey is still doing great in her toddler bed. She sleeps about 11 to 12 hours and if she wakes up early she will usually play in her room until I come and get her. She is still a very picky eater and just doesn't eat much at all. Her favorite foods right now are fruit squeezes, applesauce, cheese, crackers and chips. She does love milk and water flavored with white grape juice. She is showing signs of readiness to start potty training so I plan on starting that soon.

We are just having so much fun with Anne Bailey and know that it will only get better! Happy 22 months to our sweet girl!

Last Trip As Three

This weekend we went to Atlanta to have a last little getaway as a family of three. The weekend was all about Anne Bailey and making sure she had fun! On Friday night we had a great dinner at the Noble's house. This was the first time Anne Bailey has met Field and Dayton. It took a little while for them to warm up to each other but they were soon fast friends.

Saturday was a fun day of going to the aquarium, shopping, and eating lots of yummy food. Anne Bailey LOVED the aquarium! I think she was in complete awe the whole time. Her favorite part was definitely The Dolphin Tales show! I could not take pictures during the show but her expression was priceless. It was the look of complete joy... So sweet!

Sunday morning we met some friends, the McDougals, for breakfast and then headed home. We had a great last trip as a family of three with our sweet girl!! I know we will have many more in the future but as a family of four! Yay...We cannot wait!
