16 Months Old

Anne Bailey turned 16 months old yesterday!! I cannot believe how fast time is going by. She changes and learns so many new things every month! Anne Bailey is still talking all the time and says about 40 words. Some of her new words are toe, fish, socks, star, tree, nighty night, okay and water just to name a few. Today she even said her first sentence, "Give me my baby." She really is such a little performer and loves to show out for people. Some of her favorite tricks are dancing, turning in circles, giving kisses, doing touchdown, and showing everyone how well she takes care of her baby. It really is so cute watching her take care of her baby, she feeds it, hugs it, pats it and kisses it.

Anne Bailey is very busy right now and walks all over the house all day long! We go from room to room playing with toys, shutting and opening doors(sometimes she even locks herself in), playing in cabinets, and rearranging anything she can get her hands on. She loves going to mother's day out and is very social. She still loves to read books and will bring us about 30 books a day to read to her. She is also a huge fan of Sprout especially The Sunny Side Up Show, Barney, The Pajanimals, and The Good Night Show.

Anne Bailey drinks 3 sippy cups of milk a day but has gotten very picky about food over the last few months. The only thing Anne Bailey will eat is applesauce, yogurt, grilled cheese, goldfish, any crackers, and fruit snacks. She really just doesn't care much about eating right now and would rather feed the dogs her food. I guess it is time to start a vitamin!

Here a few pics from the past few days!

Its Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas

On Saturday morning we met The Cockrells at First Presbyterian for hot chocolate and cookies and then met my sister and her family at the Christmas Parade. Anne Bailey absolutely loved all the floats and characters and pointed and smiled the whole time. Her favorite part of the parade was definitely the marching bands! She was so cute dancing and stomping her feet to the music. After the parade we headed to find the perfect Christmas tree and then home to decorate. Anne Bailey is really loving all the Christmas decorations and will point at the tree and say in the sweetest little voice "tree." I am loving the holidays with my sweet little family!!!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a very busy Thanksgiving again this year! We started out with a great lunch at Perry and Judy's house. Anne Bailey had so much fun visiting with everyone. After lunch we went to Mel Mel's house to visit with more family. Anne Bailey loved playing outside and running around with all her cousins. We have so much to be thankful for this year, especially our sweet baby girl!

Girly Girl

Anne Bailey is already such a little girly girl. She loves all things girl such as dolls, crowns, purses, sunglasses, clothes and shoes. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I pretty much make her wear a smocked dress everyday! I really think we are going to be in trouble one day!!

Not that she doesn't have enough going on but now she thinks she needs her sunglasses too! Silly Girl!

On a side note: the baby doll in the pictures was stolen from her Mother's Day Out. Anne Bailey refused to give it up yesterday so they were sweet enough to let us babysit her over the holidays. She has not put the thing down since we got home! I guess I will have to go find a look a like doll and try and switch them!:)

Bath Time Fun

Anne Bailey loves her nightly bath time! When I tell her it is time to take a bath she runs down the hall into the bathroom and waits for me to get in there. She has so much fun in the bath reading her bath books, splashing, playing with her toys, and making silly hairstyles. She stayed in there so long tonight she got so wrinkled. When I try and take her out she usually tells me "no" and tries to wiggle out of my arms. Bath time is so much fun!

"Hey Mom!"

One of her favorite things to do, fill up her cup.

Then try and drink it

AB is so use to a camera in her face she now says "cheese". Adorable!!!

It is fun being 1

Anne Bailey has been having so much fun since she turned one! She is so happy that she can walk now and walks from the den to her room and back like 50 times a day. This also means that she is into everything (drawers, cabinets, laundry baskets, closets, or anything that she can reach). She is also having so much fun walking and playing outside during this great fall weather. She loves to pick up leaves and point at things and try to name them. She also likes going to the playground to play on the slide or swing. Anne Bailey has also been having fun playing at the mall. She loves to play in the play area with all the other kids, ride the carousel, and then ride the train and wave at everyone.

Here are some pics of AB having fun!

Halloween 2011

This was Anne Bailey's first Halloween to trick or treat! The Owens had a fun hayride for the kids and moms to ride on while the dads rode in the truck. Anne Bailey was a little under the weather but still had a great time watching all the other kids and going to the different houses. She got tons of candy but really only cared about her milk. Anne Bailey had such a fun Halloween and is already thinking about her costume for next year!
