Fall Festival and Trick or Treat Downtown

Ruff got home just in time Wednesday night to take us to The Fall Festival at church. We were so happy to have him home after a VERY LONG 9 days at market! Anne Bailey looked so cute in her pig costume and had fun seeing all of her little friends. She loved playing all the games especially Duck Pond. She made her uncle Field proud by only picking the ducks with the green heads(the ones that looked like mallards). She also loved showing off to everyone how well she walks and trying popcorn for the first time.

Thursday night we went to Trick or Treat Downtown. It was so fun visiting all the shops and getting candy. Of course Anne Bailey got lots of comments about how cute she looked! Next we went to visit Big Mike and DD to show off Anne Bailey's costume. More fun nights with my little family!

Since Ruff is at market Anne Bailey and I decided to take a little day trip to Columbus on Saturday to visit the Newmans while they were in town. Anne Bailey was so excited to see Audrey Grace since it has been since August that they have played. It was a great fall day so we had a picnic at the park and played on the playground. Anne Bailey and Audrey Grace had fun swinging, sliding, walking around and talking. It is so cute to watch them interacting with each other! We had such a great day and can't wait to see them again!

Slow Down

Anne Bailey is now officially walking everywhere! She has been working up to this for a few months but on Wednesday finally got the courage to walk full time. It is so funny to watch her. She puts her arms in the air, gets a huge smile on her face and just takes off. She is getting better and faster everyday and is definitely keeping me on my toes. She does fall alot but she gets right back up to do it all over again. She is so proud of herself and so are we!

A Week With Friends

We had so much fun last week because we had lots of friends in town visiting. We spent most of the week hanging out with Leslie, Leigh Anne and Lilly Cate. Leslie comes home from Colorado one time a year so it was so fun to get to hang out with her all week. We were also so excited to see Leigh Anne and sweet little Lilly Cate. Lilly Cate is just the cutest little thing and her and Anne Bailey have so much fun together.

On Friday MH and Jack came over for an afternoon play date. They were in town celebrating MH's 30th birthday. MH told me that on the way over Jack asked if Anne Bailey could be his sister. How cute is that? They love each other so much! Friday night Ruff and I drove to Oxford for a surprise birthday dinner for MH at 208. We had so much fun hanging out with everyone and enjoying a great dinner. Then on Saturday morning we went to Starkville to cheer on the bulldogs. After another depressing loss we headed back home to get our baby girl. We had such a fun and busy week!

Pumpkins Are Scary!!!

On Monday Ruff, Anne Bailey and I took a little day trip to Oxford to visit Nat and go to the pumpkin patch at the Episcopal Church. I was so excited to get some cute pictures of Anne Bailey in her new fall dress. Well, guess what? Anne Bailey is TERRIFIED of pumpkins! Every time we tried to sit her anywhere near a pumpkin she would start screaming and want us to pick her up. She was holding on to us so tight and would not let go if we tried to sit her back down. Then we tried getting her use
to some small pumpkins and she wanted nothing to do with them. She would shake her head, say no, and push them away. It was really funny but also kind of sad to see her so scared! We did not get many cute pictures like I had planned but we had a great day and have lots of funny stories to tell Anne Bailey one day!

This morning while hanging around the house Anne Bailey played dress up with one of Ruff's old T-ball shirts. She looked so cute stumbling around in this shirt that is way to big. It also made Ruff's day when she walked into the bedroom wearing his old shirt. We have so much fun together!!

Pickwick in the Fall

The three of us went to Pickwick for the weekend to relax and enjoy this great fall weather. We had such a great time going on boat rides, laying in the sun, taking walks, and feeding the doggles(goats). What a fun and great weekend with my sweet little family.
