School Halloween Party

Anne Bailey had Halloween parties at both schools this week. Laura and I were the party moms for the month at First Presbyterian so I got to snap a few pictures. The party started out with a fun fall festival where the kids got to play games and win lots of candy. Then they went back to their room where they ate yummy snacks and celebrated a birthday. It has been a busy but fun Halloween!

Downtown Trick or Treat

Last night we took the girls trick-or-treating downtown. We had lots of fun seeing friends and getting candy! Anne Bailey loves wearing her costume and telling people she is "Little Bo Peep" and that Emerson is a "little sheep." She had fun pointing out all the animal costumes and characters she recognized such as Minnie Mouse. Emerson was sweet as usual and loved watching all the action!

Emerson is excited too!

Fall Festival

Wednesday night was the Fall Festival at church! We had a great time visiting with friends and playing games. The girls looked so adorable in their costumes and got lots of compliments! It was about 85 degrees that night so I know poor little Emerson was burning up. She was such a trooper watching her big sister play games and win prizes. Anne Bailey had so much fun and loved getting to pick out her prizes. We are excited about a fun Halloween this year!!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

On Saturday, Ruff and I took the girls to the Pumpkin Patch in Blue Mountain. It was the perfect fall day for a hayride and pumpkin picking! Anne Bailey loved riding the big train and going down the slide. She also got to ride her first real pony, which was so much better than the carousel pony at the mall. We had fun walking through the pumpkin patch and picking our the perfect pumpkins to take home. Emerson did great and spent most of the day napping in the sunshine! We had a great Saturday with our girls and can't wait to do it again next year!!

I think this one will do
She had to rub them and if they were "soft" then it passed the test
AB also wanted a green pumpkin
Can you tell Emerson just relaxed the whole day
I think we have enough
She carried the green pumpkin for about 2 minutes and
then said it was too heavy
Fun on the hayride

Fire Safety Week

The last few weeks Anne Bailey has been learning a lot about fire safety. We were out of school last Monday for Columbus day so we went to Healthworks for the Hip Hoppers class. They read a book about fire safety and learned how to stop, drop, and roll. The kids were not so sure about the fireman when he put his fire suit on but they loved taking a tour of his fire truck. Both of Anne Bailey's preschools also got a visit from the fire truck. I attempted to go take pictures when it came to First United Methodist but once Anne Bailey saw me she started crying and wanted me to hold her. I had to leave before their group picture so she would actually be in it. Thankfully, Ms. Kristin sent me pictures of the fire truck visiting First Presbyterian.  I was so proud of Anne Bailey showing off what she had learned.

The kids that were brave enough to get close. As you can see AB is still undecided :)
