Emerson's 1st Birthday Party-Part 1

On Saturday, we had the sweetest Pink Lemonade party for Emerson's 1st birthday. I absolutely loved how cute everything turned out!! Emerson also looked adorable as usual in her new pink lemonade dress. She had such a fun day especially getting to eat her yummy cake. She didn't get as messy as I thought she would but I know she loved it. Anne Bailey and all the bigger kids also had a blast playing on the tennis court.  We are so thankful for all of our family and friends for coming to celebrate with us. It was such a fun party and we had the best time celebrating Emerson's special day!!

Emerson's 1 Year Checkup

Emerson did great at her 1 year checkup on Friday! Everyone kept going on about how cute and sweet she was. She did have to get her finger pricked before we saw Dr. price. She got a little upset but mostly about having a bandaid on her finger. Once she got that off she was fine! Dr. Price said that she is right on track for her age. She was very impressed with how well she is eating and that she is off bottles and formula. Emerson weighs 22 lbs 3 oz and is 29.5 inches long. She is in the 86th percentile in weight and the 82nd percentile in height. Emerson also had to get 3 shots which made her pretty mad! She got over it pretty quickly once she got her milk!

We are so thankful for our healthy girl!!

Happy Birthday Emerson!

Emerson had such a great first birthday!! We started out the morning singing Happy Birthday and yummy blueberry donuts from Connie's! Next, Anne Bailey helped Emerson open her presents and  they played until Emerson's morning nap. For lunch we met Laura and her girls at Fairpark for a picnic and cupcakes. The girls had a blast playing in the fountain! That night we went to eat our traditional birthday Mexican dinner at D'Casa. They were so sweet and sang Happy Birthday to Emerson and gave both the girls pinatas. DeeDee and My Mike came over when we got home with more gifts. 

We had such a fun day with our 1 year old!
