Christmas with cousins

Today Laura, Kevin, Cora Beth and Joseph came over to exchange gifts. Cora and Joseph are so cute and had so much fun playing with their uncle Ruff. Anne Bailey had fun watching them run around until she got a little sleepy and had to take a nap.

Joseph loves Toy Story 3.

Anne Bailey's First Christmas

We had such a special Christmas this year. We woke up on Anne Bailey's first Christmas to snow! It was the first white Christmas in Tupelo in like 60 something years. We had so much fun that morning opening gifts with Anne Bailey and watching her smile and talk to all of her new toys. It is a memory that we will cherish forever.

That morning we went to Aunt Melba's house to open gifts with her, Toni, Steven, and Christopher. After that we went to Ez's house for the big Thomas Christmas celebration and then back to Aunt Melba's for my big family celebration. We had such a great day and feel so blessed to have such wonderful families.

A beautiful Christmas morning.

Merry Christmas Anne Bailey.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve morning Anne Bailey and I attended the Holland Christmas Eve Breakfast. We had a great time eating good food and visiting with my best friends. That afternoon we attended the family service at church. We usually go to the later service but thought it might be a little late for Anne Bailey. We loved the family service and Anne Bailey was on her best behavior. We finished the day off with a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Big Mike and DD's house.

Christmas in Oxford

On Thursday we went to Oxford to Nat's house to celebrate Christmas. We were very excited about this because it was the first time some of Ruff's aunts and uncles were meeting Anne Bailey. Also, we know that anytime this group of people gets together it is going to be very entertaining.

Nat and Jill gave Anne Bailey the best Christmas present ever. Nat started writing a book for Anne Bailey before she was born and recently finished it. The name of it is "Are You Happy? Smile! It has lots of different characters with fun stories. It also has great illustrations that Nat colored in. Jill had the book bound and published. It is such a special gift and one that Anne Bailey will cherish forever.

Let the Festivities Begin

We went over to Big Mike and DD's house Wednesday night to open presents. We usually do this on Christmas Eve night but changed it this year because of Natty's work schedule. This worked out pretty good because we were able to get started a little earlier and Anne Bailey could join in on the fun. Anne Bailey loved looking at all the presents and trying to eat them. She got lots of toys, books, and clothes. If we had this much fun watching her open gifts this year then we can't wait for next year.

Can we get started all ready?

Having a mini freak out with Natty and Bryan because we took her away from the presents.

It is very hard to get AB to look at the camera when their are presents around.

Merry Christmas from the Thomas Family!

We have been having so much fun getting ready for Christmas this year. We are so thankful to have our sweet baby girl here to celebrate with us this year. She is truly the greatest gift ever. Here are a few cute pics from the past few weeks:

I absolutely love our Christmas card picture.

Thanks Lauren for Anne Bailey's Christmas tree. It matches her room perfectly.

Ruff surprised Anne Bailey and I with an early Christmas present. It was the cutest Christmas ornament with her name on it.

Santa decided to come a little early so Anne Bailey would have a new toy. She loves her new baby einstein jumper.

Cuddling with her daddy after a long day.

This is how we find AB when she wakes up. With a huge smile on her face and her feet in the air. She loves her feet and taking her socks off.

Sitting up all by herself like a big girl.

Merry Christmas!

Anne Bailey meets Santa

Last Friday we took Anne Bailey to the mall to meet Santa Claus. She was very excited to meet him and tell him her wish list. She did so good sitting in Santa's lap and did not cry one time. Everyone thought she looked just like a little doll.
