Frozen Valentine's Party

We had a little Frozen Valentine's Party here one morning for Anne Bailey and her friends! Everyone dressed up and we had lots of Frozen inspired drinks and food. They had a blast and looked so cute!

First Basketball Game

Last weekend we took Anne Bailey and Emerson to their first State Basketball game in Starkville. They both did great and we were able to stay the whole game! Anne Bailey loved cheering, dancing, and watching the cheerleaders. Emerson liked watching all the action and eating popcorn and candy. Sadly, we lost but it was kind of expected since we were playing Kentucky.

After the game we made our usual visit to Campus Bookmart. The girls had so much fun running around looking at all the bulldogs. They found some cute Mississippi State Hello Kittys to take home. We had another great day in Starkville cheering on the bulldogs!

Anne Bailey is 3 And A Half Years Old

Anne Bailey turned 3 and a half years old on Feb 4. I seriously can't believe that she will be four in 6 months! She is such a sweet and sassy little girl and we are so thankful for her. Anne Bailey attends 3 year old preschool 3 days a week. She loves learning and playing with all her friends at school. She really loves doing art and singing in music. She also takes ballet and gymanstics and loves showing out. She has pretty much dropped her nap but has rest time every afternoon for about an hour. She also sleeps about 10-12 hours a night. She is afraid of the dark so she sleeps with a light on at night. Before bed she loves to read books and say her prayers. Anne Bailey is still very picky and only eats a small variety of food. She still refuses to eat fruit or vegtables. Ugh!! She loves chicken, cheese, yogurt, cereak, french fries, pizza, chips, and sour cream. She dips everything in sour cream!

Anne Bailey is completely obsessed with disney princesses right now. She has always loved Ariel from The Little Mermaid but most recently has become obsessed with Elsa from Frozen. She loves dressing up in her princess dress, shoes and crown. She also loves singing and dancing to Frozen songs. She has recently started playing barbies and babies. It is so fun seeing her getting into all this girly girl stuff. She is pretty sweet to her sister, Emerson and lets her play most of the time. She loves showing her how to do stuff and telling her about things. She still has trouble sharing some and does try and shut her sister out sometimes. She also loves watching Mickey Mouse, Dora, Spongbob, Sophia, and any disney princess movie. She loves playing with her friends. Her best friends are Tatum, Mary Clayton, Anne Cambria, Sara Reid and of course Emerson.

We love our sweet, precious, bossy, smart, silly, and beautiful, Anne Bailey!!

18 Month Checkup

Emerson had her 18 month checkup last week. She did great as usual and is growing like crazy. Dr. Price was so proud of how well Emerson is reaching all of her milestones. Emerson weighs 24 lbs and is in the 65th percentile for weight. She is also 31.25 inches long and is in the 25th percentile for length.

Emerson Is 18 Months Old!

Sweet Emerson turned 18 months old on January 9! I seriously cannot handle how fast my baby is growing up! I really love this age and have so much fun watching her learn. Everyday she amazes us with what she knows. She is saying tons of words now and can answer questions with yes or no when you ask her. Some of her favorite words are bowl, no, eat, shoe, more, kitty, Minnie, mine, please, thank you and daddy. She can also put a few words together like Anne Bailey, where are you, my baby, yes mam or yes sir and come on. It is so much easier now that we can all communicate!! Emerson knows all of her body parts and all of her animal sounds. She does the best "meow" and sounds like a real cat. Her and Anne Bailey love crawling around in the floor acting like kitty cats.

She is taking one 3 hour nap a day and sleeps about 11 hours at night. She goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes up around 6:30. She loves food and thankfully eats anything. She loves strawberries, grapes, yogurt, cereal, chicken, rice, beans, cheese and some veggies. Her favorite food is Mexican and she loves some chips and cheese dip. She still drinks some milk but mainly juice. Neither of my children love water but I am working on it. 

Her favorite thing to do is play with her big sister in her room. They play kitchen, dress up, babies, and barbies. She is obsessed with Minnie Mouse, babies and hello kitty and is constantly carrying around several stuffed animals at a time. She loves to color and play with stickers. She also playing with Tupperware, playing in the pantry, and pouring stuff into bowls and bags. She loves to run, jump and play ring around the rosie. Emerson is very opinionated and lets you know when she doesn't like something. She still dislikes having her diaper changed and having her hair washed and will scream the entire time.  She is showing signs of being curious about potting training. She likes to sit on the princess potty like her big sister. She can also tell me when she has a wet diaper. 

We are having so much fun watching our baby girl grow. She is the sweetest little girl and we are so blessed she is ours. We love you, little frog!!
