Anne Bailey is 1!!!

Happy 1st birthday to our sweet baby girl! I cannot believe this day is finally here and that Anne Bailey is 1! This morning when I was telling her about the day she was born I got teary eyed just thinking about this year and how fast she is growing up. I remember like it was yesterday us going to the hospital not really knowing how much this little girl was going to change our lives. This last year has truly been the best year of our lives! Anne Bailey has brought so much joy to us and we are so thankful to be her parents!

This last month she has really changed so much. She is just growing everyday right before our eyes and it is so amazing to watch. She continues to crawl and pullup on everything. She will walk around furniture holding on to it and can stand by herself but will drop to her bottom very fast. She will take a few steps holding on to our hands. She is talking constantly and says a few words such a mama, dada, hey, dogs, and bye bye.

She has 12 teeth!! She is down to 1 bottle at dinnertime and has 2 formula sippy cups during the day. I hope that she will be done with formula and that last bottle by the end of the weekend. She also gets water sippy cups throughout the day. We have had a really hard time getting her to drink out of a sippy cup but thankfully one morning she woke up and wanted it! She has also gotten pretty picky about eating. She is no longer eating baby food. The only things she will eat consistently are bananas, applesauce, yogurt, muffin, nutrigrain bar, waffles, any type of cracker, puffs, and eggs. Sometimes she will eat pasta stars, spaghetti,carrots, and sweet potatoes. I am hoping this will get better!

She is still sleeping 12 hours at night. She goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps until 7:30 the next morning. She also takes two 2 hour naps during the day. She is such a happy baby and loves to laugh and be silly. She has always laughed when you did something like tickle her, make faces, or noises but now she will just crack up at anything and everything! If you show her a picture of herself or look in a mirror she will start pointing and laughing. It is the cutest thing! Ruff says she is her own biggest fan. Her favorite activities now are bath time, reading books, singing the ABC's, looking at pictures, patting the dogs, and playing with toys.
