Emerson was baptized Sunday morning at our church. It was such a special day with our family and friends and we are so proud of our sweet girl! Emerson wore the same christening gown that Anne Bailey, Ruff and many others wore going all the way back to Daintry's grandfather. It is such a special tradition and I am so glad she will share this with them. Emerson did great during the service and only cried a couple of times. During the baptism she gave everyone a little scare when she tried to throw herself out of Tom's arms. Thankfully he was able to hold on to her and it gave everyone a little laugh. Anne Bailey went up with us during the baptism and also did great! She was a little worried about Emerson getting water on her head.
We had a lunch honoring Emerson at our house following the service. It was so wonderful to celebrate this special day with all of our family and friends. We are so thankful to have so many wonderful people that love our girls. It was such a great day with many wonderful memories!!
