8 Months Old

Emerson turned 8 months old on Saturday!! I still cannot believe this! She is doing great as usual and is changing everyday. It really is so fun to see her sweet personality coming out! She is still such a happy girl...as long as you let her do what she wants! :) She does get upset if Ruff or I leave the room or if you don't feed her right away. She loves to laugh especially at Anne Bailey and is talking all the time. The only word she is saying right now is Da Da! She has also started waving bye bye and clapping this month. It is so adorable!! Emerson is still constantly on the move and is rolling everywhere and attemping to crawl. She is doing some army crawling and is geting up on her hands and knees and rocking. I think she will be really crawling any day now.

Emerson is taking 4 bottles a day and eating baby food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She is also eating yogurt, bananas and rice crackers. She is so interested in food and will grab at plates or forks if someone is eating in front of her. I know she is ready to eat real food so we are slowly trying some things. She is taking 2 two hour naps a day and sleeping about 11 hours at night. She is not really a fan a going to sleep and fusses when you put her down. Thankfully it doesn't last too long before she falls alseep. She still only has two teeth but I feel like she will have more very soon. It seems like she is constantly teething!! Her dislikes right now are being put in her carseat and having her diaper changed. Her likes are her mommy, bottles, bouncing in her jumper, singing If Your Happy And You Know It, playing in the floor and Dora.
