Spring Break 2013

We had a fun and busy spring break this year! We had lots of play dates with friends, played at Healthworks and the park, and spent lots of time outside. The best part was that we went to Birmingham for a few days to the Zoo and Children's Science Museum. Anne Bailey was so excited when we told her we were going to the zoo and jumped up and down saying "yay, yay" for about 10 minutes! We were all excited for a fun family getaway!

We spent our first day at the Science Museum. I was a little worried that it may be for older kids but it ended up being great!! They had a small aquarium which both the girls loved. Anne Bailey got to touch a sting ray and see lots of fish. She also loved the bubble room, playing at the water table, and making smoke rings. Emerson did so great and had fun watching all the action. We had a great and chaotic dinner at Cheesecake Factory and then headed to the hotel so Anne Bailey could do some swimming. Anne Bailey loved staying in the hotel, sleeping in the big bed, and playing on the phones. The next day we went to the zoo and we had perfect weather. We saw lots of animals, got to feed an elephant, ride the carousel,  and got to see all of monkey's friends! Ha! Emerson did great again and loved seeing all the animals. We can't wait to go back soon!!
