Time is seriously flying by!!! I cannot believe Emerson is 10 months old! She is still so sweet and adorable! She is learning so many new things daily. This month she has started playing peekaboo, giving high five, pulling up on everything, walking a few steps with help, saying mama and bye bye. She is still army crawling but has gotten so fast. She is sooo busy and will not stay still!! She loves swinging, walking in the walker, riding in the wagon, crawling, eating and being held. Her dislikes right now are sleeping and all her ear infections. Poor baby has to get tubes on Tuesday!
Emerson is over the bottles and baby food and is wanting more finger foods these days. This may be due to her poor ears hurting all the time. She is eating peas, carrots, mac and cheese, cheese toast, waffles, banana, puffs, yogurt, yogurt melts, chicken, biscuits, crackers, cereal and goldfish. She does such a good job of feeding herself and loves getting messy! Emerson has 5 teeth but I feel like she will be getting another one any day now. Like I said earlier, she is not really a fan of sleeping right now. She is waking up several times a night and does not want to go down for naps. Hopefully this will get better after she gets tubes.
