Playdate with Jack

On Thursday afternoon, MH and Jack came through Tupelo on their way home from a teip and we were lucky enough to get to spend some time with them. Jack is getting so big and is turning into such a handsome little man. We had so much fun catching up and watching the kids play. It makes me sad that they live so far away.

Just Hanging Out In The Closet

We spent most of the day today in the closet due to severe weather in Mississippi. Thankfully, Tupelo was spared but there were several surrounding counties and states with severe damage. Anne Bailey has been such a trooper considering her crazy mother has been waking her up at all hours of the day and night for the past few days to sit in the closet. Also, let me give a big thanks to Molly for weathering the storm with us today.

Anne Bailey's First Easter

We had the best Easter this year with Anne Bailey! We woke up Sunday morning to check out what the Easter Bunny had brought her. He was very good to her this year! After playing with all her fun new stuff, we headed to church. After a great service, we had a wonderful Easter lunch at Big Mike and DD's house. Anne Bailey was so happy as usual and showed out for everyone!

Sunday afternoon we had a great playdate at the Cockrell's with Sophia and Curtis. They were so cute and are so sweet to each other and to Anne Bailey. Also you know me, I had to have several photo shoots of Anne Bailey throughout the day.

Dinner with Friends

On Saturday night we had some friends over to cookout. One of my best friends, Leigh Anne and her husband were in town with their new baby girl, Lilly Cate. We were so excited to finally meet her!!! We all had such a great time catching up and letting the babies play. I can't wait for many more cookouts in the future!

Anne Bailey Meets The Easter Bunny

On Monday, my actual birthday all I wanted to do was spend the day with my little family. We decided to take Anne Bailey to the mall to meet the Easter Bunny. He was on a break when we got there so we took Anne Bailey on her first carousel ride while we waited. She sat in Ruff's lap and bounced the whole time. Ruff and I did not love it so much and thought we were going to be sick. I think the carousel has gotten a little faster over the years! Thankfully, the Easter Bunny soon arrived. Anne Bailey LOVED him!!! The whole time we were standing in line she was smiling at him and waving. Yes, she waves now and it is the cutest thing! She did so good sitting in his lap and took the cutest pictures. After the Easter Bunny we went to Romies Barbecue for dinner. It was the perfect ending to my birthday!

My 30th Birthday Weekend

On Friday we dropped Anne Bailey off at Big Mike and DD's house and Ruff and I headed to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi for what I thought was going to be a relaxing birthday weekend with just the two of us. We spent the afternoon at the spa and then headed to dinner at BR Prime. When we walked into the restaurant our best friends, the Carrs, Rowlands, and Newmans were all there to surprise me! I was so overwhelmed I just started crying! We had the best dinner followed by some dancing. On Saturday we layed by the pool all day enjoying the great weather and company. Dan Mullen, MSU head football coach, also decided to make an appearance at my birthday so that was really fun too! Saturday night we had a another great night together with dinner at Jia. On Sunday we were sad to leave everyone but were ready to get home to see Anne Bailey and have a wonderful birthday lunch at Big Mike and DD's house.

I am so thankful for all of my wonderful friends and family for making this the best birthday weekend and most of all to my amazing husband for planning everything. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

On Thursday night, we had my early 30th birthday dinner at Romies with my family. I cannot believe I am turning 30 but so far I seem to be handling it pretty well! It was so nice to get together with everyone for a great dinner. We had so much fun watching Christopher and Anne Bailey play together. They loved sitting outside and watching everyone.

First Pickwick Trip of the Season

Sunday I had a few things to do in Tupelo so Ruff took Anne Bailey to Pickwick for a fun day at the lake. She had lot of fun riding on the boat, playing on the dock, and enjoying the great weather. I know she had such a great day with her Daddy, Big Mike,and DD but I sure did miss her.

Super Bulldog Weekend

Anne Bailey finally took her first trip to Starkville on Saturday for Super Bulldog Weekend. We had lunch at The Veranda, stocked up on Anne Bailey's fall football wardrobe at The Lodge, and then headed to campus to begin the festivities. We had so much fun showing Anne Bailey around campus and reminiscing about our old college days. We were so lucky to get to sit in a box for the game with the Harris family. We had such a fun day in Starkville and can't wait to spend many more Saturdays there with Anne Bailey!
