Such A Big Girl

In preparation for Emerson's arrival in a few months we are making some changes around here. The first change is getting Anne Bailey out of her crib and into a big girl bed. On Sunday we decided to begin the transition and turn her crib into a toddler bed. I have to admit I am a little sad about this because it means she growing up! I can't believe in a few short months my baby will be two and will be a big sister!! It is so crazy how fast time goes by and how quickly your babies turn into toddlers!

Okay, Now that I have had my moment, back to the crib story :)! We are also very nervous about putting her into a toddler bed because she has always been a great sleeper and if she wakes up a little early she will just play in her crib until we come and get her. Now that she can get out is this all going to change?!? We are proud to announce that Anne Bailey slept in her toddler bed all night and stayed in it even after she woke up this morning!!! I know this may change as she gets more comfortable with getting in and out of the bed but we are just so happy that she seems to be adjusting just fine.

Next step is potty training and moving into a big girl room with an even bigger bed! Wish us luck!!!

Visiting Friends

Last weekend Ruff was still at furniture market so Anne Bailey and I went to Clinton to stay with the Rowland Family. On Friday night Krisa and I decided to take the girls and do a little shopping. We had quite an adventure with a flat tire and 3 hungry and sleepy kids. Thankfully Taylor came to the rescue and had us back on the road soon after.

On Saturday we went to Vicksburg to visit the Newman's and go to Riverfest. It was pretty chilly that day so we ended up going back to the Newman's house and just hanging out. The girls had lots of fun playing and pretty much destroyed the house! That night after the girls went to sleep Krisa and I went to a yummy dinner at Julep. It was so nice to get out for awhile and catch up with my old college roomy. We had a great weekend visiting with friends!

Pickwick Time

On Thursday the three of us went to Pickwick for a long weekend. We were so excited to get to spend some family time together before Ruff's big trip to furniture market. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the dock, eating good food, and playing outside all weekend. This was the first Pickwick trip of the season so Anne Bailey was much more mobile than the last time we were there about 5 months ago. She was constantly on the go and into everything! It is not quite as relaxing as it used to be but definitely alot more fun:)!!

On Wednesday we met  Laura and Tatum at the Tupelo Buffalo Park. The girls had fun watching the animals and feeding them. I think their favorites were the monkeys and goats until one of the goats tried to take a bite out of Anne Bailey's outfit. She was over it then!! Next we played on the playground and then went to Danvers for a yummy lunch.

Easter 2012

We had such a fun and busy Easter this year! Anne Bailey woke up bright and early to find some fun goodies that the Easter Bunny had left her. Then we got ready and headed to the early service at church. The service was so pretty and was such a great reminder of what the true meaning of Easter is. Next we went outside for the church Easter brunch and egg hunt. Anne Bailey had so much fun hunting Easter eggs and seeing some of her friends. After a busy morning we headed to My Mike and DD's house for Easter lunch and another egg hunt with the Thomas Family. We had such a fun day and I am so thankful for my sweet family!!

Notice that I am having a hard time taking pictures of Anne Bailey right now. Most of the time she completely freezes up and looks at the ground.
